It is time to get your trek on!!!!

That’s right, we have gone back to our Star Trek roots by bringing back the event that started it all!!

Dawn of the Federation was originally held way back in 2013 organised by our very own Wil Ross, who at the time was a senior member of ST fan group The “USS Fortitude” who hosted the event.

Dawn of the Federation 2 will be a bigger and brighter event at our new venue with guests from across the Star Trek Universe with the soul aim of keeping what makes our events so special.

So, come join us this April 1st to 3rd and get your trek on in style....................

If anyone would like to take advantage of an instalment plan of tickets costing over £100, contact Erika at: askerika@fcdevents.com

Marina Sirtis
Marina Sirtis

Marina Sirtis is an English actress best known for playing Counsellor Deanna Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

She later played the role in four Star Trek films, as well as episodes of Star Trek: Voyager, the series finale of Star Trek: Enterprise, Star Trek: Picard, and just recently Star Trek: Lower Decks. (voice).

She has also had guest appearances on Earth Final Conflict, The Orville and Stargate SG1 to name but a few.

We feel so honoured that she is gracing our event.

JG Hertzler is an American actor, who has portrayed many different roles on several Star Trek series. He is one of only five actors to play seven or more different characters in the Star Trek franchise.

JG's best-known role is Martok, whom he played for four seasons on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

He is no stranger, and a very good friend of FCD Events and we are so looking forward to meeting up with him again.

Rick Worthy

Rick Worthy is an American actor who has played six characters across three Star Trek spin-off series and one feature film.

Among his guest roles was the recurring role of the Xindi-Arboreal Jannar in Star Trek: Enterprise.

He also voiced a character in the video game Star Trek: Klingon.

Rick is also well known for his roles in Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG1, The Man in the High Castle and The Magicians.

Apparently, he loves conventions, so we are certainly going to love him.

John Billingsley

John Billingsley is an American actor known mainly for his role as Doctor Phlox on the television series Star Trek: Enterprise… he was also a guest star in an episode of Stargate SG-1, playing a scientist who is also a Trekkie, "worshipping at the altar of Roddenberry". He has also had a guest appearance in The Orville.

John has appeared in numerous other shows and films, too many to mention them all. But if you want to know, you could ask him yourself, by getting a ticket to Dawn to spend the weekend with him and our other guests.

Oh, and by the way, John is married to fellow guest Botita Friedericy.

Bonita Friedericy

Bonita Friedericy is an actress who portrayed the scientist Rooney who was later turned into a Borg drone in the Star Trek: Enterprise second season episode "Regeneration".

Bonita is married to John Billingsley, who plays Doctor Phlox in Star Trek: Enterprise. He had been trying to get her a role on Enterprise for a while, specifically to play one of his character's many wives. When she did guest star in "Regeneration", he made it a point to tell people that her name is pronounced "so that it rhymes with Fried and Greasy".

We have a feeling these two are going to be such fun.

New Sponsor

It gives FCD Events great pride to announce that we have venue sponsor for “Dawn of the Federation 2!!”

This fantastic news offers security & of course Covid permitting, guarantees this event will go ahead as scheduled now the financial burden of paying for an expensive venue has been removed. This also means that we can now fully focus on bringing you the best guests possible to join our already fantastic line up!

Introducing our wonderful new partners: The Sinclair Method UK!

TSM UK has fast become a revolutionary way to help alcoholics beat their addiction by using a pharmacology approach to remove the interest in drinking alcohol which was developed by Dr John David Sinclair and endorsed by Babylon 5 Star Claudia Christian.

We are delighted have formed this partnership and feel extremely honoured but humbled that the directors of TSM UK chose us to sponsor over the many other perhaps more worthy causes out there.

It is the hope of TSM UK & FCD Events that this has become the start of a long-term sponsorship arrangement that helps us to secure our events for many years to come.

Please note:

While we are extremely confident that this event & all our soon to be named guests will be attending, we want to make clear that changes to guest line ups may have to take place due to any further Covid-19 related issues
